Almost Home...

I have been searching
for peace,
I believe
I am almost there.

Hello Yesterday!

Hello Yesterday!
You were the promise of Tomorrow!
As we come back in circle,
Today is Yesterday and Tomorrow!

Laugh Cry

There must be a name for this theatrical mascot,
I call it,
Laugh Cry.
It is quite an accurate symbol of life.
We need to embrace the good times with laughing.
We also need to embrace the bad times,
with crying.
It is what it is.
Nothing more,
nothing less.
Once we see through it,
life is tolerable.

Back to Nature

I finally return to where I came from,
a spot at the foothills of Sandia Mountain.

Look!

First sight of downtown Durango...
what are they looking at?

My Turn

I sat on the west side of a train that is heading north.

I missed many of the great angles to take a picture of the train.

When the train made a big left turn,

I gleefully yelled:

Yes, it is my turn!

Can You See Me?

I was doing my reading for Soul Coaching
It was 5 am.
I raised my head and saw this.
I love the reflection.
Yes,
I have been doing a lot of reflections on my short 50 year old life.
This is a good summary.

The Catch

after many shots,
this is the best I can see so far,
sat on the wrong side of the train,
not by choice,
so
get creative...

History

There is something about this building that attracted me to take pictures,
I did not know why or what at that time,
even now that I am home,
I still do not know why.
I took many shots,
when I saw this,
I know this is it.

Self Portrait: I am Home.

This is from Sky Ute Casino in Ignacio, Colorado.
I do not know who this person is,
but I see myself,
or should I say,
my lost self.
The trip to southwestern Colorado inspired me to return to nature.
This is my new home.
I walked away from Facebook.
I will walk away from many more electronics.
The theme of my found self is
"Back to Nature".
